The guillotine scrap shear is designed for rugged scrap processing. This unit will shear white goods (7-11 tons/hour), mixed scrap (65 tons/day), railroad ties (100 tons/day), tires (14-24 per minute double stacked) and much more. It is powered by a 125 h.p. 3 phase electric motor, running hydraulics through two 10” diameter cylinders capable of 200 tons of shearing force. Tire Changing Equipment - MacSaturn 72x46 Shredder: T-0167.
MacSaturn is a leader in the industry, and this shredder holds true to that reputation. It is a diesel/hydraulic portable shredder powered by a Cummins diesel engine, and is on a triple axle trailer. All the hydraulic motors and pumps have been sent to a rebuild shop. The engine power unit will have a new radiator and hydraulic oil coolers, new fan and muffler, and new batteries, belts, hoses, and Murphy shut down unit. Also the shredder box will have new inside and outside seals, and we have a new pinion gear to be installed. All electric controls and wiring will be redone, and a new 24 volt PLC will be installed. This machine also has a grapple and cab, and oufeed conveyors. Basically we will look everything over and bring it back to a like new machine at about half the price of new. Other Tire Industry Equipment - American Pulverizer Model 72x52 HD TRS TireShredder.
American Pulverizer is a leader in the industry, and this shredder holds true to that reputation. This is a electric/hydraulic shredder powered by (2) 200 H.P. electric motors that direct couple to (2) Denison Hydraulic pumps that in turn drive (2) 525 KYB Hydraulic motors. All the hydraulic motors and pumps have been sent to Pump Re-con to have refurbished to new specfications. The shredder will be completely disassembled and refurbished to be in like new condition. Anything that shows any signs of wear will be either replaced or rebuilt to meet the rigorous duties that this shredder will be performing in the future. This shredder will have a Primary cutting chamber that will have either new or refurbished hard faced 1 ¾” thick (2) hook knives installed and this will make up 48” of the cutting chamber. In addition it will have a secondary cutting chamber that will have new hard faced 1 3/8” thick (12) hook knives installed and this will make up the remanining 24” of the cutting chamber. With this dual chamber this shredder will be able to process whole tires as well as making a 2” tire chip when matched with a classifing (sizing) screen and some recirculating conveyors.
As a primary shredder we would custom fabricate an In-feed conveyor and an outfeed conveyor so you could easily process whole Truck and Passenger tires to primary shreds. We also have a ram feed hopper available with this machine if you had the need to shred drums, white goods, Aluminum housings or anything else that might want to roll around or bridge over.
As a 2” chip system we would match this same shredder up with a Predator Systems Screen and several additional conveyors to recirculate the tire shreds until they are shred down to less than 2” by the secondary cutting chamber.
This shredder because of its size and horse power will work ideally in the Tire Shredding Industry or equally well in many other applications.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - : Custom Built Knife Hog- T-0136.
This is a nice, clean stationary knife hog that was custom built for a crumb rubber processing plant. This machine is powered by a 150 hp electric motor. It is designed to take in 2” chips and fine grind them. This machine comes with two screen sizes, 3/4” and 3/8”. This knife hog is similar to the Williams Knife Hog. It has a top feed and a bottom discharge. It will produce 3,000 – 4,000 lbs/hr of 3/4” or 3/8” material. Machine has both fly and bed knives. It requires only general maintenance that any grizzly would require and the parts are readily available at a bearing shop or can easily be fabricated. This machine will be completely refurbished and have a brand new set of knives installed. Color photos and viewing available upon request.

SSI is very highly regarded in the shredding business, this M70 Model is ready to go to work. It is less than 3 years old, and it powered by a 75 hp electric motor. It has a portable infeed conveyor that feeds the M70 shredder. It also has a discharge auger, and the machine produces a 2” chip at a rate of about 1500 lbs an hour of car and light truck tires. This system also comes with a Lane Light Truck Tire Debeader and a Lane Car Tire Debeader. This step of debeading the tires will greatly reduce wear on the knives, cutting down on costly maintenance. This is a very clean portable SSI shredder that will produce 5 tons per hour of primary shred. It is powered by a 325 hp Cummins M-11 diesel engine, and is hydraulically driven. The cutting chamber is 35” x 52”, and the hopper opening is 59” x 67”. It is mounted on a dual axle trailer, and has a 2” trommel screen classifier for chip processing. Other Tire Industry Equipment - 2001 Hogzilla 1564 Tub Grinder/Tire Shredder: T02208.
Hogzilla makes a very heavy duty, high production machine, and this machine is no exception. It is a Model 1564 with a brand new Tire Grinding option that has just been installed, and it can process 12-15 ton per hour of 2” rubber chips. The Hogzilla is powered by a 1000 hp Cat engine that had a major rebuild done on it in 2006. There is a magnetic head pulley on the discharge conveyor to recover the steel from the tires. This machine has been mostly used to shred tires, but it has the conversion kit to make it into a very high production wood grinder as well.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - SSI Model 3600E Shredder: W0164.
SSI is a leader in the shredding industry, and the Model 3600E is a powerful machine that holds up to that standard. This 1996 machine is an electric shredder with a 200hp electric motor. The cutting chamber is 45” x 101”, so it’s a great machine for larger than normal items such as white goods, pallets, MSW, metal and plastic drums, and many other applications. This machine is being rebuilt in our shop so it will be ready to go to work. The bearings, seals, gears and shafts will be checked over and replace as needed. The knives have been rebuilt and hard faced. In addition, the control panel will be completely rebuilt. It comes with a stand, in-feed and out-feed conveyors along with hydraulic ram in-feed hopper. A great addition to any recycling business.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - 2005 Columbus McKinnon Chipper Tire Shredder: T0181.
This is just like a new CM chip shredder that has a multi stack cutting chamber. In fact we will be installing new hardened rotors in this machine as part of the refurbishing that were going to be doing to this machine. This is a much better longer life rotor arrangement than came out in these machines when they were shipped new from the factory. In addition these will have the multi-stack cutters meaning that they will have 1.9, 1.8, as well as 1.7 knife seats available to put knives on. This way you can purchase someones used 2.0 knives and grind it down three more times using it first on the 1.9 then on the 1.8 rotor seats and finally on the 1.7 rotor seats. This way your knife life is extended by three times and if you’re able to purchase used 2.0 knives your cost savings will be tremendous. Note: In addition to this Chipper we also have one that has the 2.2, 2.1, and 2.0 rotor seats. So you could actually purchase a new 2.2 knife and grind and re-use it five more times so this would be getting you six total uses out of each knife. And when they cost around $20.00 each this adds up to be a tremendous cost saving over a year’s time and especially over the life of the shredder. Of course this is if you would purchase both of these chippers that we have available refurbished for sale.
This machine will be powered by a 200 H.P. electric direct drive system and have a soft start in order to reduce the amperage draw on startup. This machine was purchased new in July of 2005 and when refurbished by our shop will be just like new with the exception that the rotors will be made of heat treated 4140 material rather than the normal mild steel that they were shipped from the factory with. This means that if a knife does come off while the machine is in operation and you don’t catch it immediately you shouldn’t harm your knife seats near as easily. This chipper would work ideally in conjunction with any other primary shredder that you currently have installed. Of course you will need some kind of classifier (sizing screen) and re-circulating conveyors in order to make a sized chip. This shredder will have in-feed hopper, stand, and out-feed hopper.
